Our Venue Options
Honky Tonk Hideaway Bar
The main floor of Honky Tonk Hideaway is the perfect spot to host a private event of 150 – 250 people. It’s one of two dedicated spaces that provide an open dance floor, horseshoe shaped bar, booth seating, with a large outdoor deck. Anchored by our horseshoe bar the main area can be set up for a live band, DJ, presentation or area for more guests to sit or stand. It’s the perfect spot to soak in the music, and entertain friends, or colleagues.
Beer Garden
The second area for your private party is our beer garden that serves as the outdoor space that comes complete with outdoor seating a 40 ft bar, outdoor speakers for music and various outdoor games and murals to keep guests entertained. With a 40 ft custom built shipping container bar, your guests will love the ability to hang out on cool nights, get great drinks and enjoy their event under the stars.
Hat Bar & Merch Space
The third area is located next to the main Honky tonk HIdeway area. It’s an ideal area for smaller groups to congregate, shop our custom hats and even make a custom hat at our hat bar! This space can be combined with the main Honky Tonk Hideaway space. Both spaces offer a good vibe and a great atmosphere with a lot to see! How many guests can you accommodate for a birthday party?
We can comfortably host small groups of 15–25 in a reserved area, all the way up to large parties using multiple sections of the bar or a full buyout. With our indoor seating, horseshoe bar, and outdoor beer garden, we have plenty of room to spread out and celebrate.
What’s included when I rent space for a birthday party?
Typical rentals can include:
- Reserved tables or a semi-private section
- Dedicated server(s) or bartender for your group
- Access to our full bar, Cantina-style food menu, and 14+ TVs
- Use of our sound/TV system for game days, slideshows, or music (with prior coordination)
- We can also add-on enhancements such as line dancing, singo, hat bar, a shuttle and even a party bus!

Yes. Our Honky Tonk Hideaway Cantina serves fast-casual, Mexican-inspired food that’s perfect for groups—think shareable appetizers, tacos, and easy party bites. We can set up pre-selected menus, appetizer platters, or individual ordering depending on your group’s needs.
Can I bring my own birthday cake or cupcakes?
Absolutely. We’re happy for you to bring a birthday cake or cupcakes. We just ask that you:
- Let us know in advance
- Bring any special plates/utensils if you want something specific
Outside food beyond dessert may be restricted, so check with us first
What about decorations? Can we decorate the space?
Yes—decorations are welcome as long as they don’t damage the building. Balloons, table décor, banners, and custom photo props are great. We ask that you avoid:
- Confetti or loose glitter
- Anything taped or nailed to painted surfaces without approval
- Inappropriate signs and inflatables
If you have a big décor idea, run it by us and we’ll help you pull it off
Do you have a minimum spend or rental fee for birthday parties?
Most birthday rentals are based on either:
- A food & drink minimum,
- A rental fee, or
- A combination of both, depending on the day, time, and level of privacy.
Weekends and peak times may have higher minimums. Share your budget and group size and we’ll build a package that makes sense.

Yes. We’re the home base of Honky Tonk Party Express, and many birthday groups book:

- A 1 hour and 45 minutes bus ride through Nashville
- Post-party drinks back at the bar for game-day birthdays
- Access to our mechanical bull (if applicable to your setup and policies)

Is there parking available for birthday guests?
We’re located at 1343 Lewis Street, Nashville, TN 37210. Parking availability can vary, but we typically have on-site or nearby parking options and are a quick rideshare from downtown and Broadway. We’ll share current parking details when you book.
How far in advance should I book my birthday party?
For weekends and peak seasons, we recommend booking at least 3–6 weeks in advance. For weekday or off-peak events, we may be able to accommodate you much sooner. The earlier you reach out, the more options we’ll have for space and timing.
Is a deposit required to reserve my birthday event?
Yes. A deposit is typically required to secure your date and space. The amount depends on the size of your group and the package chosen. The deposit is usually applied toward your final bill.
What is your cancellation policy for birthday rentals?
Our cancellation and refund policies vary by date and package. Generally, cancellations made within a certain window may forfeit part or all of the deposit. We’ll clearly outline the policy in your event agreement so there are no surprises.
Do you offer custom touches for milestone birthdays (30th, 40th, 50th, etc.)?
